Location: The Heart of Rueda
The abandoned medieval cellars where wine used to age in the times of Catholic Kings and the discovery of America is at the heart of Bodegas Mocén. Purchased and restored along with 140 hectares of prime vineyard land in the D.O. Rueda by visionary restaurateur Jose Luis in 1988. After 25 years Mr. Luis is ready to introduce the American market to the high quality wines of Bodegas Mocén. Extreme caution is employed at the winery to bring the harvest to the cellar door in the optimum condition. Night harvesting and no crushed fruit is used in the MOCÉN line of production.
Branded Spirits Limited was founded in 2007 with the proposition that high quality and high price did not need to be synonymous in the industry. Using two decades of experience in the spirits business, we searched the world for the best barrels, ingredients and distilling talent.
We sought out to create new flavor profiles by using rare ingredients and unique distillation techniques. It was equally important to put time and effort into our packaging. Whether it is the electric blue eyes of our Ice Fox captured in our beautiful crystal quality glass bottles or it is the knowledge that the inspiration for each bottle of our rum comes from the far away islands of Polynesia and will return there in the form of financial support for the coral reef, our customers get an experience that is more than just one of the finest drinks for the price point that you can find.
Our spirits are sourced from around the world, most from artisan distillers. We shy away from the bulk and ordinary. We are also pleased that several of our brands are distilled right in the United States of America, which still has an abundance of craftsmanship in the time-honored skill of distilling if you know where to find it. Many of our chosen spirits have won double gold medals at various international spirits competitions.
Our team is an international one and our focus is to build our brands case by case in the major markets of the world, including the United States, China, Europe, the Middle East and Russia. We are backed by a group of sophisticated international private equity investors, and we look forward to sharing our passion with you.

Located in the heart of the La Mancha appellation, in the small village of Socuellamos, Bodegas Cristo de la Vega was founded in 1955 by 25 vine growers. Over the last decade, the winery has invested heavily in high-tech equipment to precisely control every step of the winemaking process from harvest to bottling to ensure quality vintage after vintage.
La Mancha is located on a plateau in central Spain and is one of the largest and oldest winemaking regions in the world, starting in Roman times. La Mancha has an extreme continental climate. Summer daytime temperatures regularly exceed 104 degrees F but drop dramatically as darkness falls. Winters are cold, with sub-zero temperatures and frequent frosts. The finest vineyard areas in La Mancha are those with high limestone and chalk content in the sub-soil. These semi-porous stones retain precious moisture and help to even out the vines’ water supply. 3,000 hours of sunshine a year ripens the grapes without difficulty.

Behind every great wine is a great terroir. Château Palmer’s has a natural logic: a long strip of land set between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary. Behind the alluvial land of the palus sits the Brauzes plateau, the first gravelly terrace. This is well-drained land, rich with the deposits of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, but washed clean of organic matter.
Difficult soil for agriculture, but exceptional for grape growing. Yet the vines still need help to fulfill their potential. So the men and women of Château Palmer carefully prune leaf and shoot to create a natural balance, channeling the plant's vitality towards something greater – producing the finest possible grapes. What more natural expression for an age-old vine, its roots reaching deep into difficult soils, guided by a sensitive hand? Such is a demanding terroir.
