DFJ Vinhos – Paxis
DFJ VINHOS born in 1998 to export to the UK where two of the DFJ partners (Dino and Fausto) have for more than two decades the most successful company importing Portuguese wines D&F.
Dino Ventura was one the most innovative sales and marketing person the UK wine sector ever saw. He look to all the details of the society to find ideas to apply and develop the Portuguese wine consumption.
One day he found one of its children playing in school a very traditional and physical UK game called Bulldog. During the game he heard children saying PAXIS as a way to express immunity from being caught.
PAXIS was so and in a sense a stage of ideal escape from the stress of the world where we could appreciate a great wine getting all the pleasure to our senses.
Because of that the PAXIS wines are always carefully selected to offer the best ratio price/ quality/ pleasure. Enjoy it!

Diplôme Dry Gin
The Original 1945 recipe was perfected during WWII and remains unchanged to this day. Diplôme Dry Gin is a unique French “London Dry Gin.” Created, and distilled in Dijon, a city known and respected world-wide for its cuisine, the recipe for Diplôme is one of the oldest in France. After the end of the war, Diplôme Dry Gin became the official gin for the American Army stationed throughout Europe.
Brothers Tom and Rob Franscioni learned the arts of farming vineyards and making wine from their late father, Dan Franscioni, who tragically passed in an airplane accident in 2011. Since then the two brothers have entrenched themselves in the wine world with the same passion that not only fueled their father, but also his fathers before him.
With vineyard holdings spanning from the northernmost area of the Monterey appellation all the way to the southernmost, the brothers are fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some of the most coveted wine varieties. Specializing in the Burgundian wines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, they pride themselves on producing wines of the utmost quality; believing that great wines are primarily made in the vineyard. Fruit is sourced from the highest quality blocks from any of their five family owned estate vineyards, all of which are farmed sustainably under the California Sustainable Wine-growing Alliance.
Being not only brothers, but also best friends and joint proprietors, Tom and Rob know the importance of family. To them, Divum is just that.

Dulce Dorado [duel-say] [duh-rah-doe] translates to “SWEET GOLD” in Spanish and that is the basis of this incredible Honey and Vanilla infused Tequila. The recipe goes back over 100 years when it was first distilled by Carlos’s Grandfather in Puerto Penasco Mexico, a small fishing town south of Arizona on the Mexican Baja. Carlos has carried on the family tradition of infusing the finest 100% Blue Agave with the perfect blend of Honey, Vanilla and spices to produce the smoothest, easiest drinking Tequila ever. When Dave and his Wife, Andrea, first experienced its sweet flavor, they new that this century old recipe needed to be introduced to the U.S. market. After years of perfecting this small batch nector, Dulce Dorado Tequila is still produced the old fashioned way and is available in the many markets across the Southwest.

Fäsi Estate Winery
With a strong love of the people, country, and particularly its incredible wines, in 2009 we invested in and became partners with Altocedro Winery in Argentina. Karim Mussi, Altocedro’s winemaker, is an incredibly outstanding wine craftsman and also a wonderful friend to the Fäsi family. Karim is creating internationally praised wines including some we are extremely proud to introduce under our new label, Fäsi Argentina.
Fenestra Winery was established by the Replogle family on the historic Ruby Hill property and in 1980 occupied the century-old George True Winery building on Vallecitos Road in Livermore. The old building had been badly neglected and the Replogles hauled away tons of trash and installed a new roof and strengthened the building. The winery building was refurbished in 1997 and vineyards have been planted around the winery. The winery specialized in classically balanced,award-winning wines from primarily Livermore Valley grapes. Livermore Valley’s first boutique winery, Fenestra Winery has celebrated many years of fine wines.
Heintz Vineyard & Winery
The Heintz family has farmed this cool climate Sonoma Coast ridge site since 1912; planting the current varietals – Chardonnay in 1982 and Pinot Noir 1996. Renown winegrower Charlie Heintz intimately knows the character of the vineyard and farms by block, row, and vine. The vineyard was dubbed a California “Grand Cru” site by The Wine Advocate. Highly respected consulting winemaker Hugh Chappelle (Flowers, Lynmar, Quivira) approaches the wines naturally with as little intervention as possible (and no ‘additives’) to honor the unique character of site. The wines offer a fresh, lively, ripe and elegant expression of single vineyard, site specific expression of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir meant to be enjoyed with the dynamic cuisines of California.

Jeff Welburn Selections
The JWS portfolio is a focused and complementary collection of French wines selected for their classic expression of terroir in both well-known and emerging appellations. The company’s principal objective is finding special people making special wines in special places and bringing these wines and their winemakers’ stories to those who will appreciate them in the U.S.
Jeff Welburn operates as an independent importer and national marketer of fine French wines. The portfolio is the result of Welburn’s twelve years of collaboration with Burgundy-based associate Christian Vergier and longtime Angeles French Portfolio Manager Peter Poulos. These three French wine professionals share a common mindset with each other and the winemakers they represent.
The JWS shared quality-over-quantity philosophy limits the company focus to vignerons who take a natural and sustainable approach in the vineyard, a non-manipulative approach in the cellar, and the careful attention to detail necessary to capture the unique character and nuance of their respective terroirs. These are the gifted artisans whose wines become Jeff Welburn Selections. Brands include:
